[Optional] Create a Timeshift Channel: Please check “Enable Timeshift” while creating the Live Channel buckets if you require the timeshift channels. You can input the number of hours you need for “Timeshift Period” and select the timeshift enabled channels to the timeshift channels buckets. Follow the instruction below:
If you created your own bucket, you need to use Live Channel Fingerprinting Tool to generate fingerprints of live channels on your local server.
Create a Live Channel Detection project and add the buckets you want to use.
For testing purpose, you can add the bucket “ACRCloud Test“, ACRCloud offers 2 TV channels in this bucket for testing. You can stream the 2 channels on their official website as below (you can also test with the streams if you are able to watch the channels via cable or satellite):
Save the “host”, “access_key”, “access_secret” of your project. You can find them in the places shown below.
Follow one of our programming demos to recognize a tv channel. If you have a project and a bucket ready for the test, we suggest you use iOS and Android Demo for the quick test.
See Live Channel Metadata to get familiar with the JSON structure of the response data for future development.
